Here is a vBulletin 3.7.x mod that adds a really quick register form to the home page, it encourages guests to sign up cos its fast and simple, if you want it i uploaded it here:

edit: and most spambots i found only work on a actual register page

Well if you knew anything about hacking you would know "spammers" never spam by themselves, they use a bot -.-
