Default I just got ripped off soooo bad...

Today I decided I wanted a new video game. So I'm looking around, and I saw nba 2k10, which i have wanted now since probably around October. I saw there was a limited edition that came with a locker display case, a Kobe Bryant "action figure," a poster, and a code for VIP Gold Room access, so you can play with celebrities online. All for the great price of $99. It seems like quite a bit, but I always get lured in to special edition stuff, and i love basketball.

The locker is pretty cool looking. It's able to store 20 games in it, and its pretty sturdy. The action figure does not look anything like kobe bryant. It actually looks more like a young will smith, with darker skin, and a funny expression on his face. It's a piece of shit, probably worth about $.50. The poster has a pretty sweet graphic on it, but all it is is a picture printed on a 17x22 sheet of printer paper. My printer at home would have been able to print it with better quality. I was expecting one that was similar quality to a poster you would buy in store. Nope.

Finally, there is the Gold Room card. It comes with a code on it that you enter in the game, allowing you access to the wonderful VIP room, where you will be able to play with tons of celebrities. I'm so excited! I'm going to get to play video games with Hannah Montana and Zac Efron!!!!!!OMG!!!!!!!NO. The code on the card is tough to figure out. There is a little diamond shape that I am pretty sure is a "0" because "0" is skinnier than "O". After entering the code about 40 times, i finally figured that out. Great! I'm in! I joined a game with none other than Kevin Costner, which is pretty sweet. Gotcha! The code I entered was not a valid code for the Gold Room, but somehow it knew that the code was a code for the Gold room, because all of the other times I tried entering it, it simply said "invalid code." It told me to contact customer service. Soooo i did, and after waiting on the phone for 20+ minutes, I hang up. I decided to do some research on this issue, and apparently there are many other people who have the same problem, none of them have ever gotten through to Customer Service, and only a few have had the customer service reply to their emails, but most never receive anything back after complaining.

On the plus side, I just made some of the most amazing buffalo wings ever!
