I will be using 5.00 m33 as my example today... Please note that this tutorial applies to all CFWs
This Will NOT harm your psp
--Things you need--
~A psp with CFW
~CXMB found at http://dl.qj.net/CXMB-3.3-with-5.00-...4532/catid/151
~A psp usb cable
~At least half a brain (that's a joke =p)
First
-DL (download) CXMB to your computer
-Open it up and extract the folders inside
Second
-Go to your Theme settings in system settings and set theme to original (IMPORTANT)
-Link your computer and psp via usb and open up your psp so you can see its files
-Take the cxmb folder you extracted and place it with your other folders at the root of your mem. stick (not in any folder, just cxmb into your PSP)
Third
-if you have not already, make a seplugins folder at the root of your psp
-take the vsh text in the seplugins folder that you extracted and place it in your seplugins folder on your psp
Fourth
-Once that is all set, you can now end your connection
-Totally turn off your psp (not sleep mode, for this hold your power button up for about 4 seconds)
-Now enter recovery mode (to do this, turn on your psp while holding down R)
-Now on your recovery menu go down to Plugins and hit X
--From there go to the CXMB plugin and hit X so it is enabled
-Now that this is enabled, you can fully exit recovery
Fifth
-Now turn on your usb connections again and access your psp once more
-Make a THEME folder (all caps) in the PSP folder of your PSP
-Put any 5.00 m33 ctfs in there that you have downloaded (check another thread)
-Go to your theme selector and select one
-Your PSP should reboot with the theme applied
