It's a good song, people are just too close-minded, and criticize it in a literal sense. "Hurr durr he doesn't know what a magnet is, he thinks it's magic!!" These are the same people who read a poem, and can't understand the motif to it just because the words themselves might not make sense.

theyre just too cheesy... i dont think the fact that he doesnt know what a magnet is is funny, i get that part. but he says "fuckin magnets" right after saying "fuckin rainbows," and both of those sound really forced. theres also a line in there about scientists lying and getting him pissed. i feel like they force their lyrics in every song, and it comes off to me as cheesy.
