Get the 360 the newer ones prevents the rrod. Its a great system and xbl is amazing plus you can get great arcade games such as metal slugs and play co-op online.

PS3, its cheaper in the long run thought....if you want to go online, you have to pay a fee, PS3 you dont, to actually get the chance to go online with 360(wifi addon) is another 100, PS3 is also free(comes with it)....so idk...ppl say xbox is cheaper....its rly not....add up all those months u wanna play online....50 bucks u coulda had at teh end of the year for a new game... I really like both of my systems. I would recomment the PS3 because of its game selection. It has LBP, KZ2, Resistance 2, and it will be getting GOW4 and MAG, among others. Also it has Blu-Ray.
The only 360 games that I play are Rock Band and Guitar Hero, and i might get Gears 2. Other than that, i dont know of any console-defining games that are coming out.---

im getting a ps3 for christmas and i all ready have a 360 and my little brother is getting a wii 4 christmas so its always depends on what kind of games you like
