I need help with my computer. I need to know how to boot my computer off a disc so I can format it to get rid of this virus that keeps making my computer crash. Thanks in advance.

Yeah Tact is right, but it might take you a while to find and delete the virus. Seeing that Safe Mode doesn't contain the same stuff as your user desktop.

Well I am a total noob at computers so how would I know what the virus looks like?

it is usually in Internet Cache or Cookies (can't remember one from the other =[)

or a bad .dll that came with a download.

There are so many file or things it could be in.

www.Google.com

www.Youtube.com

if you have a windows disc, you can boot off that...boot up the comp, there will be a screen(may go by FAST) hit del to enter setup, go to advanced, then go the boot up order(something like that), now hit page up on number 1, till it goes to dvd/cd device, press esc, then exit, hit y then enter....what it will do know is reboot, and it will detect the disc, press any key as it says, you should be in the windows set up now =] follow the instructions from there!

I've already downloaded most of it. I just need to find a way to connect to the internet because my stupid wireless card is acting retarted.
