    Default windows XP sp3?

    i have a desktop, its craped out when i upgrade it to SP3, so i figured id try it again i did a fresh instal of microsoft windows xp pro SP3, it worked for like a day, now i go to turn it on to use it, and it goes to the boot up screen of safe mode, normal mode...etc, any idea on whats causing it or on how to fix it?

    It could have just happened once since the update, check your WINDOWS (not AV) security settings and see if you can change it there

    nope, ive installed sp3 a few times same results....
