    Default PSP bricked????

    I think I bricked my PSP can anyone help me???? none of the buttons work while i'm in XMB but they work in recovery mode.

    Almost... when your in recovery run the eboot.pbp... it should restore you with 3.71 m33

    its not bricked....just update your cfw

    if it were to be bricked, there would be a black screen, the screen's backlight would turn on, and all you would see if a illuminated black screen, so i would recommend, update your PSP's custom firmware, and if that doesnt help, try this but only as a last attempt!! open up your PSP (if your unsure on how to do this, either ask tacticalmobius in the mod section, or check out some of his posts, they are GREAT), ok now that its opened try and clean out under all the buttons that DONT work(why fix somethings that broken? lol) if that doesnt work....new psp

    not necessarily... with a semi-brick (which i think you have because you can enter recovery) all you need to do is run the recover pbp thats on the recovery menu
