well....
if im honest, if u want to get better.....
u have to learn that a good BG doesnt make a sig....
u need to make the bg FIT the render....
okay, u did make a good BG.....but the sig as a whole just doesnt work :/
for now, i would suggest not to use renders.....
use stocks instead.....
if u want, i can PM u a whole heap of GFX sites with massive stock packs....
with a stock, u will already have some sort of BG to work with, all u need to do is build on it....
as u grow more confident, move back to using renders......the only reason i suggest using Stocks for say, 1 month or sumthing, is so u learn what BG's work well with the Focal

then, u need to intergrate ure sig INTO the BG....
heres an easy way of doing that....
once u have finished making ure BG, apply then image on a New Layer.....make sure the render is hidden when u apply the image though....
then, drag this newly applied layer to the top of ure layer list and 'unhide' the render ure using.....
now grab a large soft eraser (300px) and erase from one corner.....
u know what....
i doubt u'l understand what i mean, so ill make a .psd with all the layers and shizz and ill post up here so u can see
