kinda odd since he was asking for me but anyway let's start first

did u remove the warrenty sticker if yes procede to the next instructions if no follow this call sony aka scea and try and get a replacement

odd's are u may need to use rubbing alchol or using a cotton q tip wipe the surfaces were the buttons are make sure to go hard enough to remove all impuraties but not hard enough to damage the triggers

wost case the motherboards contacts were erroded by impuraties in the water clorine and other elements unless it was bottled water

if this doesnt work i always ask pictures are helpfull just pics of the face plate removed would be benifical if
