It has nothing to do with the torrent client...it's how well seeded the torrent is.

Think of it as....torrents are the complete opposite of 'direct' downloads. The more people that download a single direct download at a time, make it go slower.

In the world of torrents...the more the better. If you're trying to download an extremely un-popular file, it will be slow as hell. Direct downloads are hosted on a server, so when many users try to access it at once, it goes slower. Torrents are hosted on the PC of each person who's sharing that file...which is why more people make it go faster (and why it's easier to get caught with torrents...)

close your firewalles to allow incoming connections with torrents, and then open ur router by going to ur router login, so i think u put in 192.168.1.1 in your browser, and open ports from there

k guys shhh.... torrents are supposed to be like that its not you!!! THis is how it be nigz

Torrent = parted files split over the internet, much like a glass shattered on the floor, the bigger the file the more the shards and the harder to reach out and grab everything... but seeders bring the file together for u making it easier to reach aka higher download speeds, because seeders upload the file, when u download a file and leave the torrent client on ur automatically seeding, now i dont recommend torrents because i was once caught using it. some files are split near gov't sites making it easy for them to track and report u to ur ISP, becuase ur ISP doesnt want to get in trouble for u, they have no problem sending u to jail. hope this helped
