strang fat psp 4g memory problem

PLease help any ideas?

I can run a games with the 1g stick on my old Phat PSP.

So the story is that I have two 4g sticks and one 1g stick. All the sticks work in my slim running 3.72 None of them work in the Phat PSP EXCEPT the 1g stick running 4.01 m33-2.

When I try to format the stick in the phat PSP it starts formating and says do not remove the card and than says no card in the PSP Phat.

I formated it with my PSP slim to try that no luck. If I try to boot with the 4g in the PSP phat it will not boot.

Again the 1g works and games play just fine. The 4g no luck. All the cards are good and have been tested in other PSPs to make sure.

PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME I can onl play pinball with it because it's small enough to fit and I'm going crazy! Thanks

That is very strange...... Why don't you just use your slim instead of your phat? I can try to find out what the problem is. Then get back at you with a answer, otherwise I don't know.

i Heard somewhere 4 gig+ wont work with a psp....

that is the most stupidest thing i`ve ever heard lolzmaster its an ultra lie and staff1 if ur slim or phat can still read ur memstik and u still want to format it:
1.put 4 gig inside
2.go to usb mode
3.open ur psp files
4.and tell ur computer to format memstik.
And im really sure this should b in the help section not modding section

ok let me get this straight
1. your slim is not on cfw
2. you have 3 mem sticks
3. 2 wont work on the phat
ok is there some sort of ipl on it cus that happened to me once cus i had like 50 dif ipls written on to it

the other 2 might not b magicgate supported so my guess is that ur psp isn`t even trying to read the memstik

Could it be possible that they are fake?
