Then I just cluttered it up with a mess of things

im afraid ppl will get angry. tbh, its ok, but definitely too cluttered, try putting the C4d's on diff settings

I like it... but idk its okay i guess, try messing with brush settings in the brush palette. work with scattering, and flip horizontal and vertical to get diff effects, dont be afraid to lower the hardness either, because the way u did it everything stands out, u only want somethings to stand out

It was really dark at first.
