Anyway I'm gonna go through what I did, like usual :s....

Render/Focal: I used the same render WS used (That was the point, to see who's came out better) except I made some few modifications to the color, the color of the render was horrible, I preserved the colors of what he was wearing, as well as his hair, but I changed his body color, see the original: http://i34.tinypic.com/c72f6.png

After changing the color, I did some pen tooling around the waist, 2nd time I ever did it, at first I was gonna do it around his legs, but it didn't come out good...
Then I just put a lens flare directly in his palm =] It looks sick :P

So yeah, The focal was about 4 layers..

The longest part was the bg, I actually made something decent fr once, to make it, I first made 3 fractals, which took AT LEAST half an hour each (high quality ones could take multiple hours)

Afterward, I recolored them, resized them, merged them, and created a pattern to form a nice BG.
Then I added some lighting to the Bg...
And there's a layer of just black at the back...

The border was 2 simple layers, what I usually do to get a nice effect to go with the bg =]

Then added the text and it was done
And I like the result :P
