Do you need remote to use mic?

Pfft, I had to pay like 30 for the headset, and like 40 or something, maybe it was 20? idon't remember, but it was for the remote, and these kick ass PSP earphones which are surprisingly very good.

lol i had to get the mic headset thing first which cost 20 bucks then found out that i needed the remote too and bought the remote that just HAS to come with the extra headphones and also cost 20 bucks

total cost for me:$40

Yeah see that's exactly what I had to do, except I knew I needed the remote..
But the headset was like 30, and the mic and earphones were like 40.... >:O:E:
