If you have a slim, homebrew that requires the 1.50 kernel can't function, because the slim can't run the 1.50 kernel.

If you have a phat, be sure to install the 1.50 Kernel add-on for your firmware.
As well as set your kernel in the recovery to 1.5 (if you have a phat)

Otherwise look for emulators that support 3.XX kernel.

If that's not the case, read the read mes included with the emulators, that's why they say read me.

Also what CFW are you running?
