so the ping on the other test was a little slow. so yes, not AS good as ws's but comparable. but those 2 ms do make a difference.

That ping is only relevant to the location / server he tested on. When it comes to whatever game they'd be playing it could be much different.

Correct. 8 bits in a byte, so a download speed of 1.33mb/sec would download files at a speed of ~.166MB/sec = 166kb/sec. Don't feel dumb though...literally every customer we've ever had call into our Customer Service complaining about not getting what they pay for had to have this broken down to them to some extent. But it's a general rule of thumb when it comes to telecommunications to measure speed in bits, and size in bytes.
