Is not having a religion atheism? because atheism is the belief that there are no gods. but what if you just don't believe anything, like you have the absence of religion? if you know what im saying. help me out. im in a moral dilemma. its been keeping me up for days. ive been pulling out my hair and fingernails, my eyes are bloodshot. my body is shaking constantly and i feel surrounded in a haze. im contemplating whether or not i should just go over in the corner and stand there so the shadows running around my room will not attack me. help me now please help i beg you if there is a god ineed you morethananything right now the room it spins its filled with things they dance around committing sins sins sins so sinister so very horrendous i feel the need to run away away no but i cant run they have me trapped in this corner they tease me they hide and when im about to run they appear with more of their friends than before please help now

Atheism is the belief that there is no god, or no "superior" being.
Not having a religion specifically would be more Agnosticism(In my opinion...). I'm Agnostic, I'm uncertain of a specific belief being right or proper, so I choose not to have a religion.

well thats what im saying. i think that you should develop your own beliefs on how you want to live your life. the fact that beliefs are categorized is stupid to me. people who identify with one religion believe in all of that religion's core values. its like being a democrat or republican. most people who identify themselves as democrats will vote the same way on the same issues as other democrats. what does abortion have to do with health care or gay marriage? people should just choose what you believe, and not conform with the guidelines of that group you are in. and fuck the stories, why do you need stories in religion? it should be all about the morals and values. nahmean?

Religion being bullshit? Not completely... its just what you believe. Personally, I don't think a certain religion has it spot on. So I prescribe to my own beliefs, I believe in a higher being but I'm skeptical, that's why I guess you could say I'm "Agnostic". But in all honesty, most religions just waste time and make life more stressful... Success is much more easily obtained with less obstacles, and to put it bluntly, "religion" just gets in the way. But I'm also not saying religion is bad, if you're Christian, or Catholic, or whatever, I don't have anything wrong with it because it's YOUR belief not mine.
