And that's not having countries as puppets dipshit. You have military stationed in certain countries (South Korea, Iraq), it doesn't make you in control of their government, or their country.
South Korea was under U.S military control for three years, and that was quite a while back, they currently have their own government, and are not ruled by any other country.
Israel also has their own government, and gained independence from BRITAIN ages ago, US has shit over them. They are allies of the United States, that is all, they are not your so called "puppets".
Again, same for Iraq, you don't control shit all, it may have been PLANNED for the US to take full control of their country, but it didn't happen (or maybe it did, but it isn't currently like that), at the moment they have their own independent government. You simply have military there, it's called a war, faggot.

What your country DOES have with other countries, is embargoes, meaning you can't trade with them.
You also have ALLIES, countries that work WITH you, not countries that you own or control.

Eh, the article was a good read I'll admit.
Are we SO bad to call it "deteriorating"? I wouldn't say so... It's a depression, it happens, no country is perfect.
I still love my life style here in America, sure, there's things wrong, but it doesn't change the fact the standard of living is still high.

No, it's definitely not "SO bad", and I couldn't possibly call it a horrible country, but it's not the best uber awesome super country that dumb fucks like Black_Opskilla think or claim it is, and they have no place to insult other people/countries considering their standing. But I don't think deteriorating is a bad way to describe it. Take a look at a lot of the charts and info in that thread, it's no all the last 2-3 years of the "depression", a lot of it has been over quite some time (though I guess that's what you would call a depression, but if that's the case then deteriorating still fits just fine).

And for the record, I've got nothing against you or the country you live in, just the idiots of the world.
