Pretty ignorant saying each citizen's share of debt is so and so. That's like if 2 people get debt and 1 person doesn't, that one person has to pay? And the debt for many countries are really high. No one's ever gonna pay off the actual debt, they just pay the interest.

You're an idiot, it's just showing how much each person would have to pay to pay off the entire debt.Pretty ignorant saying each citizen's share of debt is so and so. Same way that those in the US try to take stabs at everyone else with stupid shit...
You reap what you sow...
Besides, I don't think it's about the citizens' financial issues, more like the country's/government's. (Or maybe I'm wrong, Idk).
How often do you see threads like this pop up around here regarding countries outside of the US?
"The National Debt has continued to increase an average of
$4.04 billion per day since September 28, 2007!"
i can haz $4.04 billion?
I FAIL AT FAILING.
First off, why do you always have to spout out insults? Stop taking things so personal...for sucks sake dude. You're an idiot.
1) That's a year old, a LOT of things change in a year.
2) That's based on the amount they're in debt per capita, not based on the actual amount they owe. The us still owes WAAAAAAYYYYY more than most of those countries including Canada (don't even know why you circled Canada, when they had nothing to do with this thread, but of course, all americans have to involve Canada, right? Perfect example right there).
3) It's also not a proper comparison, because it CLEARLY states that it uses each country's home currency, rather than comparing using a common currency (usually they use the US dollar).
Tons of those amounts would drop waaaaaaay low if they converted it to US currency to compare properly, while the US's would remain the same.
Per capita is what matters. If you're comparing countries with large margins in the difference between population...it's really the only fair way to do it. And Canada was circled because it's only the Canadians here that make threads like this pointed at the US. Not trying to start shit, it's a fact. You Canadian's stir up , if not more "my country is better!" shit than us US users, so don't try to act innocent.
Canada isn't a country though.
