I'm not the one who needs a reality check, it's you guys, who think you're the best at everything. You guys only think you're 'elite', or better than the rest, because you claim to be, yet no one else thinks you are.
My generalizations aren't childish, stereotypes and generalizations aren't based on bullshit. They come to be because of the way many people of a certain group of people act/are. Sure, I admit you're not ALL the same, but a large portion of you are.
Now you're being realistic. There's a big difference between "all" (what you've been saying all along), and "a large portion". Sure, I know there's a lot of arrogant Americans out there, but for you to stereotype everyone makes you equally as bad.
