Not really, chrome isn't any faster than firefox.

The only thing faster about chrome is the boot time, well at least for me, since I have so many customizations. But if you compare chrome boot time to firefox in 'safemode' then it's pretty much the same.

other than that chromes as fatser javascript rendering, also its much safer to use chrome than firefox...

Like I said earlier (which you I guess didn't bother to read), I use BOTH and see no improvement in Chrome's speed. I'm not like you who most likely on uses the one browser and is just screaming "Hurrr chrome is faster dah googles told meh!!!! Hurrhurr dey rewrote da java stuffs!@!@"
And how is it safer? They're both open source, both are as vulnerable as the next... And considering that FireFox gets A LOT more updates, any security flaws that are ever found are patched extremely quickly, firefox is in no way 'unsafe'... So obviously, you DON'T know what you're talking about.
But I guess if you're definition of safe is "sending all my info to google" then you're right...? Again, you're a dumbass if you use chrome, and don't really know shit about what you're talking about... AT LEAST use iron.

Edit: Oh and for the record, just to back up my own arguments (for my own sake, obviously this isn't any solid proof), Loaded up both chrome and firefox, brought them both to google, then tested each one. I went to a site that I hadn't been to, so no cache or anything of the sort... Firefox took around 1 second to fully load & display it, whereas chrome took around 2.5, so please move along, thanks.

Its safer because less hackers target it, and less people use it. Firefox updates dont mean that it is any safer just means they are patching shit. And no your not right your actully wrong.
Your system as propably got a firewall which allows firefox through better than chrome. On all bench marks thorughout the PC sites chrome consistently shows as a faster browser. Your compute is not a benchmark is it??? so dont you that as a reasonable reason to say that chrome is slower. Also i doubt you actully know anything about browser security to actully make any come back to what i said about it, but in reason, the more popular a browser is the more it is easier for it to get explioted. IE > Firefox > what ever is next.
