720p with component still looks bad ass. That's what I used until I found my HDMI cable. But of course, nothing beats full 1080p, its like better than real life haha

Oooh ooooh I should mention that SOCOM doesn't go passed 720p (same with a lot of other games), oooh and yeah, MW2 only runs at 600p I believe.
So I'm not sure what games you've played at 1080p that look like real life... Definitely not Braid or Trine.

That's what's supported, not what it uses.
MW2 is 600p, that's all you get. Try with 1080p or 720p connection, you'll see, identical graphics.
And socom is either 720p or lower.
