UMD Gen. It's a program people use to rip and compress games.
You might want to look up a tutorial for it too... it's not very noob-friendly.

And yes you need UMD Gen to rip single player out.

I was in the right section. This wasn't only for psp. People make rips of psx roms to save memory. An example of this would be taking the sound and cut scense out to make final fantasy 8 fit on a smaller memory card.
Hey wait you said noob. I'm a noob because I don't really use this site and yet nearlly every person didn't read the post.
1.) No one called you a noob in specific
2.) PSX Ripping is far different from ISO ripping, because it needs to be converted to EBOOT.PBP which UMDGen doesn't support.
3.) It wasn't in the right section, this has nothing to do with Programming, you need help with a PC application to make a PSP compressed ISO, so either PSP or PC Help would work, but Programming was NOT the right section.
what i usually look for is, language files they take up HUGE amounts of space!Quote:
