PSP Go Clocked in at 480MHz According to the FCC

Check this interesting news tidbit out... The PSP Go - model number PSP-N1001 - apparently packs a faster CPU than its predecessor. That's according to recently filed documents over at the FCC. Now it's suspected the PSP Go will remain locked at 333MHz; however - you know what's up when the device is cracked open and its true potential unleashed.

yea but it still doesnt make up for the fact that there is no umd support, not that i own any but still lol

And it's completely digital but there will be a way to get digital forms of the UMDs you currently own, Sony will be releasing a program for your PSP which will dump part of your UMD so you can pull it off the memorystick and download the digital version from their site.
ohh wow somebody is gonna figure a way to get a digital copy of the game from sony's site fo free. lol. when is the psp-2 supposed to come out? or is there even a project outline?
i forgot to mention, the upgrade is useless unless hacking ur psp....its locked at 333mhz anyway lol
but they have an option for 480? wtf would that be for then? kinda pointless

Ah - maybe the PSPgo isn't faster after all... Engadget Japan apparently contacted Sony Computer Entertainment regarding the recently filed FCC docs; the ones we showed you on July 4th. It turns out the mentioned clock speed is actually in reference to the PSPgo's USB - not the CPU.
No Im pretty sure im saying the PSP Go isnt worth without upgradesQuote:

This article was a mistake. It turns out 480 is a reference to the USB cable.
