im guessing that it's a lot of people who put bogus emails, coupled with a few who are too stupid to realize what a validation email is, and then a few who genuinely don't get the email.

94% of the new members are unverified.

well, so far, most of the people i've seen asking about verification emails have also been asking about things like "who knows an admin i want the admin codes for MOHH2" or something like that. i wouldn't say we're missing much.

i see when ever there is an email that is not sent through my email cpanel 99% of the time the user isnt checking their email if their email service uses small servers sometimes they dont receive it if anyone knows a better idea for verification post

Aswell as the custom question.
Bots cant really get through the custom question (Something,like Whats codinghs backwards) and if it's a spammer(human) theyd be able to verify email anyway... So it's worth a shot IMO

Who cares if theres leechers, nothing is lost by having them around, and at least there's the possibility of getting someone decent. Which we do on occasion, but they always run off due to the poor quality of posts in their intro threads.
