There's so many games in the classic world it's impossible to list! But... I would go for Snes9xTyl .4.2 ME and Chrono Trigger
WS answered the question for me, he mentioned the same rom and same emulator that I was about to :)

As for the psx Chronot Trigger, it's just a remake, it has cut-scenes to make the game a bit more interesting, but it's slower, it takes like 15 seconds to open your menu, where as snes is instant...
