It's the new macbook pro. I know that we get in to heated debates around here (well, used to) about them, but I'm looking for a thin, lightweight, portable computer, and all of the ones I'm looking at are about around the $1000-1200 area, so I decided why not pay 200 extra for a mac.
Or you could use that $200 to get an even better slim and light laptop that's... Not a MAC. :)Quote:

and also, can somebody type an honest list of all the things they don't like about macs? it's not gonna change my mind, but I just want to know what people don't like about em. I'll respond with why I like them, and we can have a nice healthy conversation, maybe followed by tea and a drive-in movie.
1) Everything about it's OS is horrible. (And if any dares to say crap like you can boot Windows.... STFU, because if you're booting Windows then you pretty much have a PC in a Mac's shell and there's no point for you to have a Mac at all)Quote:

It's about the Iphone, but it's all the same crap when it comes to Macs. People like to blame Adobe for the failing flash support, but it's really Apple's fault.
I used to use Macs all the time. Then when we got a new PC I started using that. When we got a new Mac last year, trying to go back to Mac OS is just mind numbing. Macs may be easier to use, but I feel you have more control over Windows, and you can do what you want. FFS! Mac OS doesn't even have a up to parent folder on their file explorer. That pissed me off the last time I was using a Mac.

That's the computer I bought. Its the shit. Except mine has a nvidia and a dual core processor instead of the gay shit they have on this one.
The battery on it sucks though compared to the alien ware computer
