Download free avg edition (just google) and make sure to download the free one. Once you get prompted about codes or a full edition make sure to click it because it'll ask for the code which you just plug in one of these.

It doesn't slow down your PC on startup either like the other ones
im using an clean version of windows 7 professional, i think biitdefender is a little too hardcore. u stick a usb flash drive in and it scans, then lags ur computer. i stick with no antivirus.. u get the computer's full speed

Top 3 Big Anti Viruses are (In my opinion, and in no particular order)
BitDefender
ESET
Kaspersky
AVG is pretty good, but mostly praised as a free anti virus, as it's free version is quite good compared to others.
I'd also recommend always having MalwareBytes' Anti Malware, even if you have another antivirus, you should have it as well, it's updated daily and it gets a lot of shit others don't.
