That's been a rumor since around december, though.

The current PS3 is almost silent anyways. Put it next to a 360 if you think it's loud.

The original PS3's (60gb models) have a higher fail rate than any other model.

Since the topic was ps3 or ps3 slim I'll forget about some of the post.
The regular ps3 is way better. It's unecary to have that much hardrive space and Sony never makes the new ps3 better.
