well folks, it appears that I, and by extension, you, have been trolled. I can find no actual evidence about this subject. The "Parrot" was first mentioned in a science-fiction short story, and the picture in my first post was something done by a fan of the story. I found Your Sinclair issue number 23, and I didn't find a "Fun with Fractals" article in it. Due to a lack of actual information, I'm going to call BS.
