Did they stop making them to patch up hacking?
They stoped making the PSP 1000 just because its out of date.
They stoped makeing the 2000 for the same reason.
Now there moving on
They want the PSP Go and PSP 3000 to sell better, since some people only buy PSPs for certain games they don't want them buying a cheaper system they could do the same with.
