Question about Rules
Ok, I know advertising/spamming is against the rules but I think there should be some minor exceptions.
I was in the shoutbox and someone asked me the name of "InSanE_pRo's" site so I told him and I was banned from the shoutbox.
I wasn't advertising or spamming I think this is going a little too far.
WMD was the one who banned me and I wanted to know we could make a minor change to the rules.
Thanks,
MrWizzles =]

You posted a link. Now stfu before I permaban you.
-
No posting links to outside sites, aside from sites similar to but not limited to, youtube, google, gametrailers, etc. Period.
-
Advertising is Advertising, its not going too far. How would you like if i went on mega-coders and on the chat box or forums i posted/spammed our website coding.hs? you would ban me right? you want people to stay on your website, i bet if i did that i would have half the members here by an hour. Now like WMD said STFU before your banned. quit your whining
-
Yha budy they don't like it because the other site may steal the other sites' members and they will get less activity. then the admins and mods get tired of supporting a dead site. then they shut it down.
So if you want this site going DON'T POST LINKS TO FORUMS
-
If someone asked you " whats the name of the site that used to be codinghs?" and you said
"oh I know, it's www.codinghs.com" then NO i would not ban you.
and i was not not advertising, advertising is when you tell people to go to your site PURPOSELY and boast about it! I was answering a question!
-
Just for referal tell them instead the NAME not the adress.
Ex. Instead of saying www.codinghs.com say Coding HS
-
I don't think a ban was appropriate, a warning would have sufficed.
However, the rules stand to you Whizzle. No links to sites that are not permitted, even if you're not trying to advertise them.
Just use a PM next time.

The action taken was harsher than normal cause chs has an issue with this site.
The website got fixed though. =]
mega-coders.forum.st
Fuck not with codinghs.

Ok that is officially too far. Why would you do that.
