I need help about connecting to wifi

here's the problem:
all the laptops in my home and my psp can connect to the home wifi anytime/all the time, but my lap top can only connect about 50% of the time. sometimes while using internet, my laptop looses wifi connection, and if i try to reconnect, i'm lucky enough to get it work again.
usually when i don't need to go online, it works; and when i need it, it doesn't work
i think something is wrong with my laptop setting, not the wifi system; but i just couldn't find the solution

router: wireless-G, 2.4Ghz, 802.11g

any ideas?

i meant that he should choose a better connection, or maybe he ♥♥♥♥ed up his router or something, i dunno...

same problem drives me NUTS!!! but i cant afford a new wireless, what i uselly do is pull hte plug out of the wireless for a few seconds and plug it back in and reconnect!

ok, try this, unplug your modem and your router, and plug them in at tha same time, that should do it

If any of you read you'll see he mentined it works perfectly with his psp, and computers tend to pick up the signal much better than your psp.
Might be the settings, might be the computer, I don't think it's the router.
