hey guys, hoping you guys can help me out.
Lately i have been needing my comp on campus, and well its too big.
i have an ASUS G73JH. weighs too much for me to carry all day.
I was thinking of getting a netbook or some thing smaller than my asus.
something around 150-400 dollars. i wanted to get a macbook but too expensive.
so if anyone could help me out it would be much appreciated.

things im looking for.

>decent size harddrive. no less than 5gigs
>backlight keyboard.
>of course WiFi
>not heavy.
> atleast a gig of ram.
>64bit system. 32 is fine tho.

Backlit keyboard will be the hardest thing to find on that list. Plenty of netbooks for under $300 with the rest of the specs though.

dam. do you recommend one? forget about the backlit keyboard.

Can't really recommend one off of personal experience, but they're pretty much all the same at the end of the day. I'd just look through here take a look at a couple, make sure they have wifi (pretty sure they mostly all do these days), that the weight is satisfactory (usually all under 3lbs) and check out the reviews.
