PS3 Help

i recently got a new modem. i have a netgear CGD24G.

i can connect with my laptop.but when it comes to my ps3.it connects to the internet but when i look for a match on MW2 it says t find games but it doesnt join.
then the internet turns off. i get signed off.then i log back on then it says no games found.then it goes out again.i log back on then the percent goes up next to the matches.then i find one and join.

my disc is fine. and i know it not my ps3 because i havent canceled my internet with ATT&T and my ps3 connects to it using wired and wireless.
