Re: Broken PSP 1000 (phat)
When you turn it on, does the screen turn on but remain black? You ought to be able to notice this, because it will still be brighter than it was when it was off. If this does happen, chances are that something did screw up in the firmware, resulting in a brick that can be fixed with a pandora kit. If that doesn't happen, and nothing happens when you try to turn it on, chances are that it's a hardware issue, and will be much harder (read not cost-effective) to fix.
Re: Broken PSP 1000 (phat)
doesnt need to be hacked in order to brick. you can brick updating with original firmware. same chances of bricking, and im sure D_A's is more trustable lol
Re: Broken PSP 1000 (phat)
You might have accidentally powered down the PSP during a firmware update etc. Unless you got your hands on a pandora, you should just send it into sony.
Re: Broken PSP 1000 (phat)
if you give a mouse a cookie, he'll want a glass of milk.
but yeah, if its under warranty still send it to sony and you get a new one
