How do I add my music and movies from my computer to my ps3?

i read something about a DLNA server with windows media player 11, but i still dont get it :( it doesnt detect my ps3, and my ps3 doesnt detect the dlna thing, help me pleez :D

u use a usb flash drive ...and put your media into it . i think u should name the folders too.. for ex if u hav a pic PHOTO so the ps3 and reconize it

select the flash drive, hit Triangle, then select the option "Display All".

not sure never used it lol, just play games on ps3 xD sometimes watch movies....
if u just need to copy them over, use a USB flashy =p

My PS3 and PC are both on ethernet on the same router, somehow all my music shows up on it o_O

Like, there's a thing on my PS3, it has the Windows Vista symbol, and my PC name (Rus-PC) and I can click it and view movies/photos/pics.

well, i just realized that there is no possible way for u to transfer a movie directly with a computer to ps3 on a media server. even playstation said so lol. so i just use my psp to transfer movies now, and music through the media server
