imposter codes....-help please

i have sonnies imposter prx 1.0
it has nothing to do with the codes the fuck..
is the a later version?
cuz anytime i enable an imposter code i freeze

I haven't used the impostor in forever, but i think you have to do some key combo at a certain time, home twice, then right and left trigger and up, and that brings up a keyboard, you type in the name you want and poof, it works.
although, how'd you get this? the only place i found it was in vip... ;)
