I'm sure there's a god, maybe that's not his name, but he is a greater being that created us. I don't belong to a specific religion, but I'm definitely not athiest, I have athiest friends but I personally dislike the practice of "science proves everything" because there are many instances where science is wrong. For instance: Bees technically shouldn't be able to fly, their wing mass is so much less than their body mass that they should fall like a rock, and its an unexplained mystery. Many things are, and religion somewhat falls into the category.

No, they still have no true proof yet. They believe they couldn't because of how our planes fly, and that they have to study their style of flap, and pattern of flapping wings to discover why they do, but as of now, they are not lighter than air and their wings shouldn't let them fly.

ok, heres were i get to have fun ;D
earth at once was molten lava, and developed an atmosphere to hold in all the contents of the earth, so at 1st we only have heat, as we know, lava eventually cools, and when that happens it makes condensation(as the space is freezing cold) we know have clouds correct? logical enough? now it rains, ok that speeds up the drying process, and eventually we create lakes, oceans.....etc, and the suns been there, so know you have the perfect spot for algey to form, eventually we have mutations forming, and we get fish, plants living on the earth,(by now after the erosion and weathering, its not solid rock, its dirt/soil) this is when trees start to form, then we got the fish, mutating and evolving, filling niches. eventaully after dinosaurs, cavemen, we evolve further into the people we are today.
as for the energy statement, if you testing space, the universe, there is what we call "background radiation" and thats from the initial explosion of the big bang, so we have proof the big bang did happen. but im not 100% sure what form of energy were talking about. but i think i hit the correct one.

The point of this thread isn't to reach a conclusion but to have a debate.
And you still have yet to answer my question: Where did this person/being/thing that you call god come from? Why do you scorn and dismiss the big bang as impossible, because how could nothing turn into something, when you believe in an intelligent something or other just up and forming... somehow... who then made everything?
It's still a something from nothing scenario. That of science, however, doesn't start with a highly intelligent deity. It starts small and works its way up.
