My Psp is fxcking up D:

When I play my psp I have full battery and my charger plugged in.
I play a certain game online and then sometimes my psp randomly turns off.
I have like hundreds of screenshots from nite pr on my psp.

I was wondering if anyone knows the problem.
Is it the...
*Battery?
*UMD?
*screenshots?
*charger?

EDIT: But, when my psp randomly turns off, it's not because I took a screenshot, it's not after I take a screenshot, it's random.
So is it still because I take too many screenshots or have too many stored on my psp?

I know for a fact that I don't get booted because my psp doesn't freeze or shut down, it turns off immediately and the color dot thingy goes out. Plus I use the UMD.

If it still happens when I play I'll just get a new battery.

SGT, Tact is right about the shutting down thing I remember I used my neighbor's PSP and when I pressed the musical note and the NightPR my PSP shutted down.

psp has a short likly if dropped or has been modded
bad prx running
accidental power shutoff while wifi is active
udp flood to the port the psp is on
psp manufacturing malfunction
bad iso/cso
underclocked psp use cpu speed no slower than 222mhz
flash memory is semi corrupted solve via backup or recover and reupgrade
need i continue

meh i think its just bad wiring of the PSP to the power supply, open the psp and check that out and if it looks all connected just clean off the dust that im sure sits there.

Well, I took all my screenshots of my psp into a folder on my pc. Then I took like 5 in the lobby when I got on SFDM. Played a game like 20 minutes later and my psp turned off.
I don't think it has anything to do with the screenshots.

I'm gonna try a couple of different things. I'll download coderpr instead of nite pr.
If it still happens I'm just gonna open up my psp and clean it. Hopefully I don't break it.

Do you play with your charger because your battery is fucked? I know one of my batteries doesn
t last long anymore, basically have to play with it plugged in... But if your battery only last like 5 seconds and the charger stops charging for w/e reason, then your psp will go off :p

Probably not your case but it's possible.

I'm pretty sure it's because you're playing when you're charging. When you play while you charge your psp, your psp heats up more faster, I think.
That happens to my psp too. So, the more often you play your psp with your charger plugged in, the more likely your psp will shut off randomly.

@PSP_Ace: Yea I think that's my problem.
When I play without the charger it hasn't turned off.
But I keep the charger in so the battery life doesn't go down and so I don't need to charge later.
I guess from now on I'll just play and then charge for a bit and play again.
