The PSP Go has been revealed by the June 2009 iteration of Qore.
The PSP Go features a 3.8-inch sliding screen, is 43% lighter than the PSP-3000, has 16 gigs of flash memory, supports Bluetooth, and has alldigital content. Just to reiterate, that means that there's no UMD drive. It also supports memory stick micro, so you can "add extra memory to it if you'd like.
"There will, of course, be a large emphasis on games in the digital marketplace (including Gran Turismo, Jak and Daxter, and Metal Gear Solid PSP games), but movies and other content will be offered as well.

DAMMIT they still havent made one with two analog sticks!!!!
and still no touch screen or l2/r2
they should still have the buttons up top and have keyboard slide out
also it problably won't be a long time until we can put cfw onthis or even the 3000

Sony has confirmed that the PlayStation Portable Go, it's new UMD-less revision of the handheld, will be available in North America and Europe on October 1, at the same price of the original PSP -- $249.
PSP Go will feature a sliding screen which will hides the PSP's buttons when closed and will be able to store downloadable media on a 16 GB of internal flash memory. It will also support Bluetooth and wireless connectivity and be 43 percent lighter than its predecessor.

you do know we can put CFW on the 3000 right. I'm not sure but I have heard that Gripshift works. But I have a 2000 so IDC

I just wanted to know why they didn't have a UMD slot?

They got rid of the umd slot because ur gonna have to buy the games from the psn store. The games will still be released on umd for people who still use psp 200 and 3000.
