what do i do

Hey, I haven't been on the forums in a while nor my psp so I was just wondering if I'm on 3.72 M33-3, what would i do to get to the latest custom firmware. I haven't touched my psp in months but I'm just starting to play it again. Since Resistance Retribution is out I wanted to play it but I heard that needs the latest update.

^^^ there's the 5.00 M33-6 update ^^^
then you'll need to download the 5.00 ofw update (here (http://www.psp-hacks.com/download.php?id=1568))
rename the ofw update to 500.pbp, put it in the m33 update folder, put in the GAME folder on your psp, run, update, enjoy =]

Is it alright to do it with a fat that way and I'm able to go straight from 3.71 to 5.00, right?

yup. works.

I put this together. It's neat because it has the 5.00 update already renamed 500.PBP and in the Update folder for 5.00 M33.

So all you have to do is dump the un-zip'd folder into Game and it should install 5.00 M33-6

Just a quick question, I have an iso for R:R but dosn't it have to be a .cso file for it to actually work?

I use YACC to convert the .iso's to .cso's usually so they can play.
