View Full Version : Weapon Modifer for SFDM

Hello codinghs!

I would like to know how much of a demand there still is for a WM for SFDM.

I have been wanting to make one but for some reason I am unable to connect to the multiplayer DM server. (I tried a new psp, opening ports on my firewalls, etc)

Only vote yes if you can see yourself actually using it because you play DM often.

If I do end up making it I will require alot of extra help because of the fact that I cant really test the codes it makes. If you have experience with weapon mods in DM and would be interested in volunteering then you may vote with the third option. Not everyone who volunteers will be chosen. (assuming the project moves forward at all)

but about the DM servers.....they have been down as far as i know, i heard a rumor to go into recovery and set region to europe...but idk if that will work, i know MOST of the online/offline values =] or i can make them, usually depends on the # it will go up or it will go down 60+ add one, lower -one.....i think =\

How come I'm still getting people asking me to make WMDM if the servers are down?

Ill try the europe thing. And the files, I prob do have them. Which ones?

it would be pretty cool if you could get it to work. i probably wouldn't use it all that much but still.

I agree, a WMD modifier would be soooo useful. Mod power in the palm of my hand (err, keyboard) and everybody else's! Thanks for the tip! =p

I love this idea,
SFdm is like the only psp game i play...
I dont hack that much but i would use it time to time.

Yeah,,
I get server errors the first few times but i get on after a few trys.

Idk about EU. I'm on US and I get the "failed to connect to lobby" or something like that.

And if I find something for you to do I'll let you know. =]

I like the idea alot I love this game and hope u can get it working oh and my games working fine I just have to stand real close to my router

I would be glad to help in any ways I can. As long as I know how to do what you want me to do.
Not too good with gun mods but hey, I'm still down to help out in other ways such as testing and suggesting ideas and more.

I want to move forward. But there is SO much to do. WIY was a major part of making the other two happen but he doesnt do SFDM hacks. I need someone who can take his place for the SFDM stuff. Who all but knows the SFDM mods without even looking at a psp. WIY worked ahead of me. I would ask for stuff and suggest ideas and he had it done already. So if anyone feels like trying to live up to that, let me know.

Yep you gave me a ton of screenshots. Which is great. But it's also way ahead of itself. I can't use screenshots if there are no actual mods.

lol that was more for my benifit then u needed and i lost intrest in psp but slowly gaining back into it lol

WM SFDM is happening. For sure. Hopefully within a month. I'm waiting on "offsets" to be generated by certain people (including myself when I can actually log in).

If anyone knows any weapon mods for sfdm and would like to help with the offsets please contact me. It's VERY easy if you know how to make a weapon mod.

I mean manually make a weapon mod. For SFDM. Obviously, since there is no WM for SFDM yet, you cant make it with WM. And I taught you weapon mods on LS/CO, not on DM. Unless you taught yourself DM mods sometime since then, you prob can't do them. They are different than CO/LS. An offset is a (usually) three digit value which WM uses to calculate addresses. Also known as a Mod ID.
