the main problem is the over-contrast/saturation.

try not to 'force' the colours so much.....ie. dont use ONE colour balance layer and leave it at that......
u need a VARIETY of adjustment layers, but use each one to only slightly alter the colour range/style....

Ok. Im was messing around with a lot of different techniques and came out with that. I'll keep working on it. Thanks MZA.
