Well, it's finally here everyone. Welcome to the Sig of the Week competition for Sunday, August 17th, 2008.

Sonnie and I finally decided on how we're going to do this, so here's the rules:

Dimensions:
Minimum: None
Maximum: 450 x 250 pixels
Having your name in the signature is optional, but preferred.

Theme:
This weeks theme is...

"Your favorite cartoon character"

It can be any stock, render, or anything like that. Just has to be a cartoon character, and in the size qualifications stated. Cartoon characters are drawn by hand, not animated...just to clarify. so I don't want to see Jimmy Neutron pop up in here. No Animation is allowed in entries...we want still-shot sigs only. (no animated GIF images).

Due Date:
All entries must be posted IN THIS THREAD by 11pm of Saturday night (August 23rd). All of the submissions will be gathered up by either Sonnie or myself, and posted in a poll on that following Sunday (the 24th).
only ONE picture will be allowed for submission your 1st one you post will be submitted

Prizes will be announced at a later date, and of course...the winner may get to join the GFx team (if not already on it).

Entries can be submitted as of NOW. Good luck to all!

Also, please post only entries here...any discussions regarding this competition can be posted in the "SOTW Discussion thread"

When we open the poll, I'll request for all voters to PM me with their vote as well as voting in the poll. That way we know exactly who voted for what, and it will still keep it "climatic". Then, when the votes are tallied up, I'll post who voted for what...and that way everyone can verify their votes.
