I'm a noob. I want to hack syphon filter dark mirrors to get guns because I'm too lazy to rank. I dont know what nitePR is or how to use the codes. I dont even think I have the right version psp. Plz help.

Wow guys lol. atleast tell him hes not totaly screwd lol. if you have a computer that doesnt have vista, then chances are you can get custom firmware lol. so go to google and serch some guides. once you get custom firmware then you can hack.

why do u say doesnt have vista? you can get CFW with vista...

because i have vista. i searched and searched for about three months and almost every guide i found said that it wont work with vista. and the ones that did say it could... didnt work. because vista doesnt format the mem stick right. it blows lol. if you can find a guide that works for vista then hook him up lol. actually i heard a new thing that works for vista so ill hook him up..

Okay follow my steps for custom firmware..
go here and download the file: http://pspupdates.qj.net/Dark-AleX-releases-new-PSP-unbricker-Despertar-del-Cementerio-v6/pg/49/aid/122984


next unrar the file once its downloaded.
then put the the folder called "DC6" in the game folder that is inside the psp folder on your psp. only that folder.

now ur going to have to find a place that lets you download the 4.01 Official firmware download. then download it. then rename it to: 401.PBP
out that file at the root of ur memstick on ur psp.

now go ur actual psp. go in the games part to the very botton and open the folder that says memory stick. open it. it should have something in there. run it. Make sure have dont have a theme set on there at the time or it wont work. follow the instructions and let it do its thing. MAKE SURE NOT TO TURN OFF THE PSP WHILE DOING THIS. IT WILL BRICK I AM NOT RESPNOSIBLE FOR BRICKING PSP.
now after it is done it will tell you to press a button to turn off the psp. do that. you now have a magic memory stick. now. go to google and search a guide on how to make a pandoras battery or buy one off ebay (they are also called tool batterys) once you have that. put in your memory stick first. then pop in ur pandoras battery. it should bring up a screen. click X on where it says "Install 4.01 M33" let it do its thing and you have custom firmware. AGAIN IF THE UPDATE IS INTERUPTED THE PSP WILL BRICK SO DO NOT LET THE UPDATE GET INTERUPTED. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR BRICKING.

but if you do mess up when installing the custom firmware. just redo it and it SHOULD unbrick. but not garrentied.

dude hes not totally screwed. all u have to do is make a pandora battery by urself. its not that hard. ive done it. or he could just buy a datel tool battery. just read my tutorial here: http://www.codinghs.com/forums/showthread.php?t=663

my tutorial has pictures and everything plus i took time makin it lol -_-
