Yea you sure are probaly wondering if this was a vip app. Yes infact it was but it was exlusive for vip for only a week. Only reason why it was a vip only exlusive homebrew was because its not so easy to find "psp theif" these days... and more....

Be prepared when your psp gets stolen. Just place this on your psp as the readme.txt says "how to"... once you got it on your psp ur good to go if it gets stolen. By clicking a few things on your computer properties you will make your psp send you an email of where its location is!!

Its dessinged for the real deal not testing. But you can test i guess but may give you differnt results...

My computer > right click , properties > Advanced > Enviro. Variables.

you should see something like this

Under that

Variables Value
Theif false

Set to true when your psp gets jacked.

Armed - I would like to learn more about this / believe it or not, my son's PSP was recently stolen. I stomped around the neighborhood making beat down threats. two days later it showed up. I Went to pick it up, but the 8gb MS was not inserted. Still heated by this; especially more so now, since the SFCO WM was publicly released. (apparently the word around the neighborhood is that the MS "has been found" - but i have yet to retrieve it.)

lol that idk about. But i think it works when ever the psp is turned on it will connect to some sort of network sending an email. Thats if you have triggerd the theift on ur comp. I have this on my psp and it works great.:)

thanks Armed - I just downloaded it. I will follow the readme.txt to install and then report my findings.

My primary question is, does the PSP Theif require the unit to be connected wirelessly or will the unit search for the best signal then send email?

As far as i know... It connects to the best signal and sends the email.

I've seen something similar, i think it was like when someone connects the psp via usb to a computer, it'll send you an email with ip address, location, other stuff :)
