View Full Version : Custom Firmware 3.95 GEN released

A new version of PopsLoader supporting the 3.95 kernel has been included with the package also.

Installation:

* Copy the PSP folder to the root of the memory stick.
* Download the official 3.95 update and copy it to the root of the memory stick with the name ‘395.PBP’
* Run it and follow the on screen instructions, the Sony updater will be used for the main flashing.
* At the end it’ll ask you to press X to reboot, do so or you’ll get a brick.

PSP CFW 3.95 GEN changes:

* Kernel updated to 3.95 (new nids, patches etc.).
* Option added in recovery to choose between VSHMenu and in-XMB recovery.
* Option added in recovery to choose between Sony, GEN and M33 network update modes.

UPDATE
Custom Firmware 3.95 GEN 2 released

Changes

* Fixed issue which crashed the PSP if you had vshmenu mode 'None'.
* Fixed SNES emulator issues, now works fine.
* Fixed few homebrew issues with the Slim.
* Last version of the SNES emulator, PSPTube and many other homebrew using ME now work fine.

im not sure i want this.Is it good?.The only thing i like is select is recovery but i can just custom XMB the icons so idk....

only thing that doesn't is cxmb
but i can live w/o that

I WONT GET THIS BECAUSE, I DONT DOWNLOAD ANY CFW NOT DONE BY DARK ALEX, IF YOU DOWNLOAD THIS UR HOMEBREWS MITE STOP WORKING

I don't get it
I went from 1.50 to 2.52m33 to 3.71m33 to 3.90m33-3 but I don't see any difference

why updating

no its not.You dumbo.Try it.And yes you make a pandoras battery by accesing the 3.95 gen menu

umm i would say something but its flame so i wont say it.I can give you an easy way but you cant make it.Only pandora.

Step By Step

1) Get your PSP
2) Plug it into your computer VIA USB
3) Open your internet browser
4) Go to http://youtube.com

You're done...

i got this fw, yea i can see chenges but personly for me 3.40oe-a better or 3.90m33 coz when i whant change menu icons its brick my psp :( not very bad i just waste about half hour to correct this problem , i waiting for 4.00 fw :D

dude m33 is so ♥♥♥ the xmb is so slow compared to the other versions! i use 3.02 oe-b because the xmb is super fast. And if you say that you can't play the newest iso's.....WRONG! You can get UMDgen and PBPunpacker and edit the cso/iso to allow you to play

my all time favorite was 3.03 OE-C though, idk just me i guess, but everything went pretty good, it played all my homebrew, ISOs and everything

well that's true lol :D So i guess I'll upgrade to 3.90 M33-3 and then wait for 4.00 custom firmware to come ou! :P
