So i bought Fallout New Vegas and its such a bad ass game only thing is it froze and now my ps3 doesn't work so i called SONY customer support and i have to send it in. The total cost is $190 and i said to myself (FUCK MY LIFE)

my copy came in the mail today. I'm not even unwrapping it until they release a patch that actually FIXES THE PROBLEMS OMFG WHAT A CONCEPT

how good is the game?

it's pretty good so far, but i haven't really done the main quest at all yet, i've just been going around discovering locations and the quests associated with those... but i like it a lot so far. one of my favorite things is the humor that they use. it's subtle, but ive actually busted out laughing a couple times.

and yet they released a game riddled with bugs instead of postponing the release date and making things work.

It's just like Fallout 3, bug & all. The glitches that happen in this are just like the ones that happened in 3. I've only completely froze playing it once so far, but it does get hitchy every so often.

i did like 3 or 4 quests then i got to a soldier camp and froze =(

Well, they released the first patch. Don't know how much it really does, but I've been playing for a while and I haven't had any real problems. Of course, I didn't have any real problems when I was playing it before they released the patch, either.

lol i just figured it out. i think Veronica possessed me to become more powerful and is now channeling her voice through my body. i didnt notice that she disappeared at about the same time my person started sounding like her. looks like its happened for other people too but the patch apparently fixed it.

Game is better than Fallout 3 imo, i know it's a nuclear wasteland but this one feels more lively.
Also the real iron sights pwn.

Already have 1k+ caps from a few hours of play :D

yes my canadian friend the iron sights are fucking epic to bad i can't play it cuz my ps3 is being repaired as we speak
